Non-detonating blasting cartridges finally enables blasting without the generation of a shockwave, thereby creating the possibility of avoiding overbreak in sensitive rock structures, flyrock in sensitive areas and unwanted damage to nearby structures in civil blasting environments.

We have an AutoStem cartridge available for every blasting requirement where borehole sizes of between 9mm and 100mm are drilled.

LOW EMISSIONS & EFFICIENCY
AutoStem cartridges do not generate any harmful gas, nor do they create unwanted ground vibration or fly rock.
This means continuous re-entry blasting in confined and poorly ventilated environments is a reality, since otherwise harmful gasses and dust, are not generated in the blasting process.
SUITABLE FOR AUTOMATED MINING
Autostem technology has a collaboration with Sandvik in both South Africa and Australia whereby our blasting cartridges are being used with machine controlled drill-and-blast equipment for the remote loading and firing of blast holes
